You've come shopping for CBD, but aren't sure what or how much you may need. Let's start with what aliment you wish to relieve using CBD, and then look at what kinds of products and what dosages might help you achieve relief.
CBD can help relieve many types of ailments, discomforts and diseases, and also provides many health benefits to help prevent disease and promote health. The primary reasons our customers have been turning to CBD is to relieve insomnia, anxiety, and pain. Fortunately, CBD is very effective at relieving these conditions.
Scientific research has shown that CBD may be therapeutic for many conditions. In compiling a list of conditions that CBD may help, PROJECTCBD examined hundreds of peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals. Most of the studies included were culled from PubMed, an online service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine, and consists of abstracts on preclinical research involving single cannabinoid molecules, test tubes, petri dishes, animal experiments, and in some cases human cell-line studies.

What you choose to use will depending on the condition you are treating, the severity of the condition, and how your body interacts with CBD. Everybody reacts differently to everything we put in our bodies.
Generally speaking, we recommend that everybody should take a minimum dose of 3-10 milligrams everyday to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, heal, breathe and function more optimally.
For anxiety, insomnia and pain, you will want to explore tinctures, oils and edibles.
For skin conditions you will want to use a balm or salve. These come with and without various herbs and may include menthol or eucalyptus, which you will want to avoid if you have open wounds or sores.
Menthol based salves and salves with eucalyptus are great for aches and pains of the bones and muscles, and to relieve the pain of arthritis. For these types of conditions you also will want to explore tinctures, oils and edibles with a potency of 15 to 45 milligrams per dose depending on your weight and the severity of your condition.
The answer depends on your weight, your overall health, and the severity of your condition. The following information is intended to provide a general guideline for adults in otherwise good health and sound mind.
This chart is based on using a dropper from a 1oz 1000 mg bottle of CBD tincture. For exact dosages using your tincture, calculate how much is in a dropper and adjust accordingly. Most droppers only pull one half of a dropper at one time, so a full dropper would be equivalent to two half droppers.
When using tinctures, a little math helps. CBD Tinctures come in widely different potencies, from very light (150 mg or less) to very strong (2500 mg or more). How many milligrams are in the bottle is not as important as how much you use per serving. To achieve the desired potency is just a matter of using more or less.
First, determine how many milligrams you need per serving. You could refer to this weight-to-age ratio chart: https://cbd.center/learn/f/honest-marijuana-cbd-dosage-calculator-for-humans.
Then determine how many drops of tincture you need using the chart below. This chart shows approximately how many milligrams of CBD per drop are in each potency:
As you can see, potency is relative to the amount of CBD and the volume of the liquid in the bottle. Listen to your body and adjust your serving up or down depending on how you feel.If symptoms are not relieved after an hour, take another dose. If you take too much, rest.
This answer depends on a number of personal factors. Do you get drug tested? Do you want to avoid THC for personal reasons? Would you rather have a small portion of THC with your dose?
if you decide you don't care or would prefer to have THC in your dose, then choose a Full Spectrum product, This will include a small portion of THC (less than .3%) as well as additional cannabinoids and terpenes. Brands include CBD for the People, Hawaiian Royal Hemp, Mana Artisan Botanics, and Sweetpeas Hemp Company.
If you don't want THC but do want the additional cannabinoids and terpenes, you will want to choose Broad Spectrum products, such as those offered by American Indican tinctures, oils and cartridges.
CBD-only products that contain 0% THC are made from CBD Isolate, a powder from which all THC, terpenes, and additional cannabinoids have been removed.
